Goytsclough Mil – At SK 012733, near the quarry, is the site of the former Goytsclough Mill, built as a stone finishing mill and later used as a paint mill. Water was taken by leat from the Goyt and also from a stream in Deep Clough and held in a dam for powering the waterwheel.
